Cambridge University Library is 600 years old this year and is running a series of special exhibitions. The exhibitions include Newton's Papers, Sassoon's Journal, Darwin's manuscripts and a collection of incredible, ancient writings in the Lines of Thought Exhibition. Works in this exhibition include Beowulf written in Old English, Shakespeare's First Folio, fragments of an Abbasid Qu'ran from the 3rd century and many more amzing pieces. The Library is running a whole series of events to mark the 600th anniversary, including workshops and tours of the exhibitions. They are also offering a free app for download.
