Last year Dame B’s contributed over 100 hundred boxes to the nearly 44,000 that were delivered by 'Link to Hope' to families and elderly people in Eastern Europe for Christmas, and this year we were determined to make an equal contribution to this worthy cause.
Our school council have been instrumental in counting and sorting the boxes, removing and counting the £2 coins, repairing any broken wrappings, and sorting the gift aid forms: collaboration and computational thinking in action!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this collection. Our next focus will be on helping provide items for Christmas food boxes for our local Uttlesford food bank, again to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and this time right on our doorstep.
