Our Spring Concert showcased the collective talents of our large ensembles, but a number of students have enjoyed considerable individual successes recently.
Catherine B (Year 7) won two violin classes at the Cambridge Competitive Music Festival, and Celeste L (Year 7), Ilaria S (Year 7) and Poppy S (Year 9) won the Recorder Consort class at the same festival.
Juliette R (Year 11) has gained a piano FTCL Diploma.
Catherine H (Year 12) has gained a cello DipABSRM diploma. Catherine was invited to play as the cello soloist in a performance of The Swan at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, with a visiting Japanese Youth Orchestra.
Ash P (Year 12) has been awarded a choral scholarship to sing with the Fairhaven Singers.
