Parents, friends and family were treated to a wonderful performance based on Robin Hood by Year 5 on Friday 11 March.
With a combination of timely humour, superb choral singing and a lot of line learning, the audience were enthralled and thoroughly entertained by a fabulous performance. Throughout their drama lessons Mrs Marty and Miss Jones have worked with Year 5 pupils to create a fabulous production of maidens, gangs of entertainers, peasants, dastardly sheriffs and greedy kings -not forgetting a torturer with a giant squisher!
The first ever Junior School performance at Fitzwilliam Building, our first production live to parents after a series of remote performances and what a show it was. Parents described it as ‘uplifting’, ‘a pleasure to watch’ and many were keen to join in the fun with clapping, laughter and the essential booing for the sheriffs and his hench people.
Thank you to our Year 5 pupils and to our fantastic audience. We await your Year 6 production with anticipation.
