Students at the Stephen Perse Foundation have once again achieved highly impressive results in this year's GCSEs.

Highlights:

  • 36% of GCSEs graded the top score of 9
  • 59% of GCSEs graded 8 or 9
  • 79% of GCSEs graded 7, 8 or 9
  • 24 students achieved at least 8 GCSEs at grade 9

Stephen Ward, Head (11-18), said: “These superb results are testament to the hard work, dedication and perseverance shown by our students. They have overcome the many challenges of the past couple of years in style and been rewarded with outcomes that stand them in fine stead for their Sixth Form studies next year. We are very proud of them and extend our sincere congratulations for all they have achieved.”

Richard Girvan, Principal, said: “Stephen Perse students can be confident that the excellent results they have been awarded are a true and fair reflection of all of their hard work, learning and attainment over two years, the first of which was affected by periods of national lockdown. We are therefore immensely proud of our students for coming through their courses with such superb outcomes and we are excited to welcome them back to school in September to commence their A level studies.”
