The humanities guide us towards an understanding of what it is to be human. Exploring how human beings have interacted with each other and with their environment over time helps us to understand our own society.
We recommend that all students study a humanities subject at GCSE. We also run workshops on themes relating to citizenship, including politics, poverty, ethics and ecology for each year group.
