Impressive performances from the Dame B's Cross Country teams
On Wednesday 1st November Dame Bradbury's runners took part in the first round of the USSP Cross Country Championships at Herbert's Farm. It was an exciting day of events, and the Dame B's team had a particularly successful morning with some excellent individual and team performances.
Individually there were gold medals for Barney (Year 3 Boys), Emily (Year 4 Girls) and Ben (Year 5 Boys). Eva secured a fantastic 2nd place (Year 4 Girls) with Charlotte earning a 3rd place finish (Year 5 Girls) following a very determined run. Dame B's also had shared success in the team event with wins for both the Year 3 and Year 6 girls.
Many of our pupils have successfully qualified for the next cross country round as individual competitors. Additionally, six out of the eight teams competing from Dame Bradbury's progressed through to the next round. It was a fantastic effort by all of the pupils and we wait with baited breath for the district championships at Uttlesford!
