On Friday 8 November, children at Dame Bradbury's enjoyed raising funds for ‘Smile for a Child’, the charity of choice for this year from Malim House.

Around forty parents attended a Sixth Form students Study Skills Parents’ seminar, presented by Elevate Education, on Tuesday 5 November evening at the Stephen Perse Sixth Form.

On the sunny yet chilly Tuesday afternoon of 29 October, Year 6 visited the American Cemetery in Madingley. 

On 30 October, Kindergarten pupils across the Foundation joined together at Madingley for a Diwali Day collaboration event and fun activities to increase awareness of the Hindu Festival of Light, covered all areas of learning.

Elizabeth B from Year 12 recently attended a talk given by Julian Cooper and Tristian Simmonds at Magdelene college along with members of the art department about the art of mounting an exhibition of work by artist Anthony Gormley at the Royal Academy of Arts.

This year in chemistry we have done countless of experiments such as mixing salt into water to make a saturated solution, then after a while the salt crystallised and made some really cool crystals around the beaker. Another experiment that we did was mixing a chemical and water together to make a solution that was a lovely shade of blue. I also know that later in the year we will make a solution including a Bunsen burner. Over all chemistry is the best!

Year 1 and 2 from both Rosedale House and Dame Bradbury's were lucky enough to visit Legoland this week as part of their ‘Around the World’ topic they will be starting after half term.

Taskmaster is an activity that we did on induction day and when some people went on a residential to Salamanca, Spain. In the taskmaster activities we had to get into groups of 3 or 4 people and then we read the slides that are on the board for example one of our tasks were to draw exactly 100 dots and then we had to join up the dots into a picture. We have made an imovie for you to watch to explain and give further examples of taskmaster.
