The children in early years worked tirelessly to put together a brilliant nativity production called ‘Mary’s knitting’, about a lady called Mary who needed to knit a blanket for baby Jesus - but would the blanket be ready in time?

On Tuesday 3 December sixth form students Sunny, Norrie, Charlotte H and Charlotte L competed in the regional final of the Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC). The STMC tests mathematical, communication and teamwork skills and students compete against teams from other schools and colleges from their region.
Year 4 students at Dame Bradbury’s recently recorded the well known 'Sleeps til Santa' song for Star Radio.
This December we have once again supported the Uttlesford Foodbank in a collaborative reverse advent calendar.
On 6 December we went to see the play Antigone by the French writer Jean Anouilh (1944), at the Corpus Playroom, which is a reimagined version of the original Sophocles' ancient tragedy.
Recently, Sixth Form had 23 students take part in the Senior Maths Challenge and the impressive results could not go unmentioned!
Today we learnt about a range of topics including Mary Tudor, Henry VIII’s reformation, Elizabeth’s golden age and Henry VII.
The whole of Rosedale House participated in the Bebras competition, a computational thinking competition which involves using logic and problem solving skills to answer a series of increasingly difficult questions.

On the 28 and 29 November, Senior and Sixth Form students collaborated to produce and perform a very dramatic and visually compelling production of Sophocles’ Electra.
