Stephen Perse Cambridge Celebrates GCSE Results

GCSE students from Stephen Perse Cambridge are celebrating an impressive set of results, with 71.5% of GCSEs being graded 7, 8 or 9.

Staff and parents are commending the students for their diligence and commitment throughout their time at Stephen Perse Cambridge, which has enabled them to reach this excellent achievement.

GCSE highlights:

  • 30.2% of GCSEs graded the top score of 9
  • 52.9% of GCSEs graded 8 or 9
  • 71.5% of GCSEs graded 7, 8 or 9
  • 18 students achieved at least 8 GCSEs at grade 9

Stephen Ward, Head 11-18, congratulated the students, saying: “Everyone at Stephen Perse Cambridge is delighted with the superb achievements of this year’s students. They have worked unbelievably hard, supported by the teaching staff and their own families, who have been instrumental in helping the students manage the pressures of this exam period and achieve their full potential.

At Stephen Perse Cambridge, our mission is to deliver academic excellence, by nurturing every individual to realise their potential and inspire them as the contributors to tomorrow’s world: intelligent young people with the creativity, compassion, confidence and conviction to question, evaluate and improve society. This group of students certainly embody these values.” 

Principal Richard Girvan added: “We are so proud of this year’s cohort. Their commendable attitude makes me confident that they will continue to inspire others with their genuine passion for learning. They are inspirational role models for the whole school community. We are looking forward to seeing all they go on to achieve in Sixth Form.”
