We run a whole host of clubs, societies and activities that offer unique opportunities to
expand your interests and gain new experiences. Amongst these are a whole host of student-
run clubs, so you could even start your own.

Many of our clubs and societies run as part of the sixth form enrichment programme every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Others are run in the early evenings or during lunch breaks, and some involve trips and residentials too.

What's on offer?

Here’s an idea of the sorts of clubs and societies you can get involved in while you’re at the Stephen Perse Sixth Form. These clubs and societies change every term, so they’re not exact - it’s just to give you a flavour of what’s on offer. Current students can find the details within their Student Blog.

Trips and outings

Many of our sixth form clubs and societies include trips into Cambridge, London and beyond. For example, the Engineering Education Scheme (a nationally organised scheme run by the Engineering Development Trust) involves a six month project with world-leading software company ARM and includes a two-day residential workshop.

Those interested in theatre will be glad to hear that we organise and run a number of optional theatre trips throughout the year to give sixth form students the opportunity to experience a wide variety of current work. Anyone can take part - you don’t have to be a keen performer!

Some trips even take students abroad, such as the European music tour that takes place once every two years, giving interested students the chance to perform in some incredible venues across Europe, and sports tours that provide an opportunity for our athletes to compete against overseas clubs and school teams while soaking up a bit of the local culture.
